Caleb Simmons, President
Harmony High School
Active member since 2018.
My advice to incoming anglers would be to have fun and be thankful for all the amazing people who make this program possible.

Being able to fish in different areas and see God’s creation would be my biggest highlight.

My favorite memory of the club was being able to fish Lake Hartwell in the 2021 High School Fishing World Finals and National Championship tournament in South Carolina.

Austin Howard, Vice President

My advice to new anglers would be to always be true to the club because they will always have your back.
My highlight of being in the club would be all the trips I have been able to go on and make memories with the great people I have met through the club.
My favorite memory of the club this year would have to be the away trips like nationals and just having a good time with friends and fishing new and challenging fishery’s.

Grant Jackson, Tournament Committee

My best advice would be always having fun but appreciate the hard work that goes into the club because it will take you a long way.
My highlight of being in the club is all the laughs and smiles we share with each other after each tournament.
My favorite memory of being in the club was freshmen year at Lake Pickwick. I’m looking forward to going back to Florence Alabama.

Clint Leonard, Captain's Committee

My advice would be to make sure to do your research and talk to other people, this club can help you grow in many ways besides fishing.
My highlight of being in this club is making friendships that will last a lifetime.
My favorite memory is staying up with the other anglers the night before the tournaments and saying a bunch of past stories.

Grady Johnson

My advice is to just have fun and enjoy it while it lasts because it goes by fast.
My highlight of being In the club is all the fun trips we were fortunate to be a part of.
My favorite memory in the club is last year’s trip to Lake Hartwell for the 2021 High School Fishing World Finals and National Championship tournament in South Carolina.

Dakoda Hargrave

My advice is to keep good grades, run for a position on the executive board and just have fun.
My highlight for being in the club is the scholarship and after high school opportunity you can have.
My favorite memory is catching 25 pound bag and going to world finals.

My advice is to take advantage of what OA has to offer. It’s a great club to help get you out and help the community and to become more responsible person.
My highlight of being in this club is being able to help others by raising money for charity or to help out the community.
My favorite memory in the club is being able to fish and MLF style tournament on Lake X and catch 70 plus fish.

My advice is to appreciate the adult board because they are your biggest support system and they do so much for the club behind the scenes and are all around the best people you could ever be around.
My highlight of being in this club is building friendships with everyone and being given the opportunity to help the community get together with all of our events.
My favorite club memory is the away tournaments that everyone goes and spends the weekend and we all hang out and make amazing memories that will last a lifetime
